• Forget about the washcloth- Regular washcloths can easily leave smears and blotches on your windows. You can enjoy a sparkling, spot-free clean by using newspaper, coffee filters, or even a microfiber cloth.
• Use the eraser trick- Do you remember those blackboard erasers your teacher used when you were in school? They can be used to remove any residual streaks on your windows after they have been cleaned.
• Don’t forget about the corners- People too often forget about cleaning the corners when they are cleaning their windows. Cobwebs, dirt, and dust can quickly build up in the corners of your windows, and in order to get a professional finish, you need to clean them!
• Top to bottom cleaning- By cleaning from top to bottom, you will prevent drips and streaks on your already clean windows. The other plus of cleaning this way is that you are less likely to miss a spot.
• Clean the screens- Lots of dust, dirt, insects, and other nasty things can get caught in your screens. You can clean your mesh screens by using the hose on your vacuum cleaner, or you could take the screens off of your windows and spray them off with the hose.
